The method of get( ) in Requests lib

requests.get(url, params = None, **kwargs)

url : the link of the pages
params: the extra params in the url, such as dict, optional
**kwargs: there are 12 params.

The properties of Response Object

let r = requests.get(‘’https:///www.baidu.com‘’)

There are 6 properties of the Response r = requests.get(“https://www.baidu.com“) above.

r.status_code:

return the status of the HTTP response, 200 means success, 404 failed.

r.text:

the string form of the content from HTTP response, means the pages content of the url.

r.encoding:

the code scheme (form) guessed from HTTP header.

r.apparent_encoding:

the real code scheme (form) analized from the content of the url pages.

r.content:

obviously, the binary form of the content from HTTP response.

e.g.

>>>r.encoding
'ISO-8859-1'
>>>r.apparent_encoding
'utf-8'
>>>r.encoding = r.apparent_encoding
